Website analytics
MELT records page views and actions such as reel plays, portfolio-category selections, case-study visits, inquiry starts, and successful inquiry confirmations. These events help identify useful work, weak pathways, and the sources that lead to project conversations.
Analytics events do not include names, email addresses, inquiry messages, IP addresses, full user-agent strings, or site-search text. A random session identifier connects events during a visit. Marketing parameters and the referring domain may be stored in browser storage for up to 90 days so an inquiry can be attributed to its source.
Project inquiries
When you submit the inquiry form, MELT receives the information you provide, including your name, email address, project description, timeline, location, and budget range. Attribution fields such as the landing page and campaign source may be included with the submission.
This information is used to evaluate the request, respond, prepare a scope, and maintain the resulting business relationship. Inquiry content is not written to the website analytics dataset.
Service providers
The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Non-identifying event data is processed through Cloudflare Analytics Engine. FormSubmit delivers inquiry emails. MELT may also route an inquiry to a configured customer-relationship system or workflow provider for follow-up and pipeline management.
These providers receive only the information required to perform their role. MELT does not sell website or inquiry data.
Your choices
You can clear this site’s browser storage through your browser settings to remove saved attribution information. You can also contact MELT to ask about, correct, or request deletion of information associated with an inquiry, subject to legitimate business and legal recordkeeping needs.
