Dome worlds + character animation

For FLUF World's SXSW activation in Austin, MELT built a package of animated environments and character-driven content designed for a fast-moving Web3 event footprint: dome playback, billboard moments, FLUF Haus atmospheres, mushroom worlds, and animated Thingies.

The brief moved across formats quickly. Some pieces needed to read as immersive scenic content inside a fisheye dome. Others had to work as punchy event media, looping worlds, or character animation tests that could be adapted for Resolume and live operation.

We developed colorful FLUF Haus city skies, ZGORE-inspired mushroom environments, dome crawl looks, space-backed billboard states, and animated creature scenes that helped turn FLUF Village from a sponsor presence into a living metaverse installation.

Official SXSW programming listed FLUF World as the presenter of SXSW XR activity in 2022, with FLUF Village and FLUF Haus extending the brand into panels, parties, music, and immersive experiences. MELT's work sat inside that larger collision of digital identity, event design, and live media.
