Festival-scale visual operation

MELT supported Duke Dumont's Ultra Korea performance with live visual direction and on-site VJ operation, translating the set across the festival's large LED architecture and high-output lighting system.

The show moved between graphic artist treatments, atmospheric blue-and-red stage states, tightly framed screen content, and laser-heavy drops. Each look was selected and paced in real time so the video system worked with the music, lighting, and scale of the crowd rather than behaving like a separate layer.

The resulting environment demonstrates the role of an experienced touring visual operator: protecting the artist identity while adapting the show to a one-off festival system, unfamiliar pixel map, and local production workflow.
