Jim Crane Celebrity Classic

MELT joined the visual production team for the inaugural Jim Crane Celebrity Classic, a charity weekend at Floridian National Golf Club in Palm City, Florida. Hosted by the Astros Foundation and 50 Cent’s G-Unity Foundation, the event brought celebrity golf and evening entertainment into the same production weekend.

A dome at the center of the experience

The production paired an immersive dome environment with branded visuals and a live entertainment stage. The design archive shows how Astros imagery, event identity and animated environments could wrap the interior, while exterior concepts brought the foundations’ branding onto the dome itself.

From installation to show preparation

Working with IMRSV-XR and the event’s AV team, Morgan Lavery supported the onsite projection and visual-production workflow. The production schedule assigned Morgan to dome and external-projector setup, projection calibration, LED signal testing, content checks and run-of-show preparation.

Content coordination continued onsite with the Astros production team, including conversations around sponsor loops. The work connected media preparation with the practical demands of getting a dome, stage screens and the event program ready together.

Production archive

The renderings and layouts below document the production’s design and planning process. They are concept and previsualization material from the shared event archive, rather than photographs of the finished show.
