WACE · Starry Night | MELT EVERYTHING

MELT created a Starry Night-inspired animation package for WACE, introduced through Alex at SPAZZ Visuals. The brief translated a painterly visual direction into moving content for a corporate projection environment.

Painterly motion at architectural scale

The original scope called for a 60-second animation at 3840 × 2160. As the project developed, WACE requested a longer presentation of the animation assets, with the content prepared as seamless long-form loops in two parts.

The venue reference divided the projection canvas into upper and lower bands, with a dark gap between the balconies. That layout shaped the presentation: the animation had to read across separated surfaces while preserving a coherent visual atmosphere.

From base animations to long loops

Production moved through animation previews, client feedback and a folder of base-animation deliverables before the long-loop exports. The editing project preserves separate Part 1 and Part 2 sequences and revised final-loop versions, reflecting the transition from individual scenes to a continuous event environment.

WACE shared playback documentation in late November and subsequently confirmed that the client was happy with the work.

A separate branding deliverable

The surviving Techleap logo animation is presented below as a supplementary deliverable. It was completed too late for playback at the event, so it is shown as motion-design work rather than documentation of the live projection.
